I just completed week 6 of my 12 week Product Design Bootcamp with Cowrywise and Àșà. For the past six weeks, I have made it a tradition to write about my learning experience weekly. And in my last post, I mentioned that I had started working on my first Product Design project. I also recall promising to share my research findings and solutions in this post.

Where did the time go?

I can’t believe it’s been over four weeks since I started my Product Design journey. Oh, how time flies! I still remember my very first week like it was just yesterday. Heck! I still remember the day a friend of mine sent me the link to apply for the DesignFund4Women scholarship. And just like that, four whole weeks have gone by and here I am, still giving it my best shot, because this opportunity is one I will never take for granted.

I just completed the second week of my Product Design Training with Design Fund for Women. I wrote about my first week here. See, when I got my schedule for the training from Cowrywise, the first thing I noticed was that we would be having lessons just once a week. So I thought to myself, “Once a week? DesignFund4Women is a 12-week training program organized by Cowrywise to help bridge the gender gap in design by training and launching the design careers of 75 women in 3 categories, namely: Product design, Graphic design and Brand Identity design.
